Lighting Programme
Light patterns are specifically designed for each rear and are determined by time of year, customers’ egg profile requirements and breeders’ recommendations.Feeding Programme
All birds are ad lib fed and given a three stage ration to help to achieve correct body weights, especially early on in rear. These stages are:-
1st Stage: Day old to 4 weeks
2nd Stage: 5 to 8 weeks
3rd Stage: 9 to 16 weeks
Body weights
The feeding programme is designed to achieve breeders’ recommended bodyweights at all ages.
Sample batches of pullets are weighed individually on a regular basis and body weights are recorded.
All individual body weights are targeted to be within 20% of the average flock weight.
Vaccination
This is reviewed on a regular basis and can be modified to suit customers’ requirements. Experienced personnel carry out all vaccinations. A copy of the current vaccination programme can be supplied.Blood Sampling & Health Programme
Blood Samples are taken at 13 weeks of age and tested for IB, ND, Mg and Ms Each flock is checked for Worms and Coccidiosis at 14/15 weeks oldDeliveries
All deliveries are overseen by a representative from DMS (Pullets) Ltd. Pullets are transported in Freedom Food registered vehicles.Advertisers:
